Lilly’s Around Town Adventure
Since the beginning of Lilly’s around town adventures, Lilly loved taking walks around town, now don’t get me wrong she isn’t the best on a leash, she walks me around town instead of the other way around. As time progresses she has calmed down a lot more than the first walk i ever took her on. When taking Lilly for a walk she reminded me of walking a hound dog, she sniffs everything and anything. Sometimes gross garbage laying on the side walk, there have been many times than not that she would pick up old food that I would have to pry out of her mouth. Which was gross but I did not want her getting sick.
What Kind Of Dog Is She
Sometimes I wish Lilly could answer this question, mostly because it’s asked every time Lilly has an around town adventure. She gets numerous people asking about her, she gets so many compliments on her looks she would make Angelina Jolie jealous. Most are compliments based on her color, her pretty brownish, red tan color combination, and beautiful amber colored eyes. She got more compliments on her fur than I have ever got on my hair combinations. Another question about Lilly that seemed to be a repeatedly asked question was ” What breed is she?” When I tell them a Husky/ Mastiff they seem to be intrigued by the answer, probably because the breed is so unique ( I have never met another Husky/Mastiff).
When me and Lilly take a walk there is a number of buddies she stops to make conversation with, (some of the other dogs on the block). She will stop and give a quick bark like she’s saying “Hello”. This is like clockwork every single time she takes a walk, and if her buddy isn’t outside then she will stop and still bark like she’s talking to the dogs inside their house. It’s interesting and funny to watch her do this. I kind of want to know what she’s thinking when she does .
When Lilly is done with her walk she has a tendency of letting you know by lying down and not moving . Which is very embarrassing especially when she does this in the middle of the street or right in someone’s yard. As she is smiling the whole time like she’s saying ” Nope, I’m laying here till I’m ready to go”. She is a character on walks, or should I say my walks. It is good exercise for the both of us and I love making her happy and healthy.
